Greenstones christian trust
Formed by the Reverend Bob Spratt, a retired Senior Prison Chaplain. The Trust seeks to spread the Gospel by word and deed.
This is worked out through two working titles Missions To Prisons and Friends of Prison Fellowship Ethiopia for which Ralph is the Director for SW England and South Wales.
Missions to prisons
‘Somebody should do Something’ day conferences have been held looking at working in prisons and the challenges and opportunities of working with offenders on release.

Friends of Prison Fellowship Ethiopia
Ralph has visited prisons in Ethiopia on five occasions seeing the huge humanitarian need but also a huge response to the Gospel.
Whilst there visits were made to see the skills training where men have been trained in tailoring skills and also the Twinkle of Hope project for children who are living in the prison because their mothers are in prison and no one is able to care for them. Finance for this project was raised by Friends of PF Ethiopia.
Also PF Ethiopia has helped to set up capacity building workshops often now funded by various embassies, this has led to better run prisons and a desire to improve the standards of care within prisons.
On his last trip in Jan 2007 Ralph found that even more children are in prison with their mothers and malaria, typhoid etc is a vast problem in the prisons in the south of Ethiopia.
