Friends of Prison Fellowship Ethiopia is a working title of Greenstones Christian Trust of which Ralph is a trustee. He is also Director for S.W. England & S. Wales.
Ralph has now visited nineteen prisons since his first visit in 2002, the visit he made in January 2007 was the fifth time that he has been.
Visiting a number of prisons where Twinkle of Hope is run with the children living in the prison, he saw a big growth in the number of children, in one prison there were thirty-two children.
Also the cost of living has risen by about 30% in the last year increasing the cost of all the work we are involved in.
There is continued growth in the numbers of Christian prisoners but sadly there is a huge lack of Bibles.
Women prisoners have to have their children living with them in prison.

St Bride’s Church in Wales Primary School
The children of St Bride’s made the Twinkle of Hope project their beneficiary for their Lent Appeal. The picture shows the head teacher, Susan Jones, together with a pupil, presenting a cheque for £450 to Ralph for this worthwhile project.
Mrs Jones said that one of the pupils had told her that they enjoyed hearing about the Twinkle of Hope Project because it made them think about those who are less fortunate than themselves and how lucky they are compared to the children in Ethiopia.
It is hoped to form further links with the school.
