Easter Buffet

 

The Easter Buffet was held at Cornerstone Cwmbach.  Valley of Hope clients, staff and friends came together for the meal and we were joined by Owen and Luke from the Church Army Grafted Project in Scotland.  Luke shared how Jesus had completely changed his life and Ralph spoke on how Jesus brings hope and love into people’s lives.

Official Opening of New Offices

 

The official opening of our new offices took place on the 11 March by Dr Barry Morgan, Archbishop of Wales, also in attendance was Mark Russell the chief Executive of Church Army.  We were also pleased to welcome Lisa Weetman & Angela Gutierrez from the Welsh Assembly Government who had granted the money to purchase a five year lease for the offices.  In his address the Archbishop praised the work of the Valley of Hope project in its work with people on the edge of society.  A full report of the event can be found on the Church in Wales website www.churchinwales.org.uk

 Tania read out some work that she had done at the Creative Writing Group and also a prayer.  This prayer reflects the change that Jesus has made to her life.
